Steins for Support – Tuesday, March 27

Steins for Support occurs every Tuesday evening at Urban Chestnut’s Midtown Brewery and Biergarten (located at 3229 Washington Ave., 63103) where 10% of beverage sales are donated to a local charity. On Tuesday, March 27, from 5pm-8pm, 10% of beverage sales will be donated to Food Outreach. We invite you to join us that evening to share some tasty beverages while helping our low-income clients living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. We hope to see you there, and thank you in advance for your support!

Food Outreach commemorates its 30th year in the community with this much-anticipated “fun” raising event. Taking place on Sunday, April 22nd from 2 - 5 pm, this event will feature food samples from dozens of top local chefs, live entertainment by Ben Nordstrum and friends, hundreds of unique live and silent auction items, and more. Please join us at this fun and engaging event to provide nutritional support and enhance the lives of those in need living with HIV/AIDS or cancer.

TAPPED in Maplewood – CHARITY OF THE WEEK – May 15 – 20

Tapped in Maplewood offers a self-pour concept, which means there is no need to tip. They pay their employees a living wage so they do not depend on a tipping system. However, any tips offered at check-out are given to a local charity that changes weekly. Tapped has chosen Food Outreach to receive all tips between May 15 – 20. Here are their hours of operation and location:

Mon – Closed / Tues – Thur 4PM-11PM / Fri 4PM-12AM / Sat 11AM-12AM / Sun 11AM-10PM, 7278 Manchester Rd. Maplewood, MO 63143

At Tapped, their concept revolves around tasting and paying only for what you pour. Now, you can sample a wide variety of craft beer (their walls boast 48 taps) and specially-selected wines, cider, and even coffee, tailored to your taste. Tapped provides a one-of-a-kind drinking experience by allowing the freedom to self-pour. They also offer a full menu, featuring appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, and a tasty selection of pizza, made in their very own wood-fired oven.

Watch for details soon regarding a Happy Hour during the week of May 15 – 20!
