Food Outreach board member, Ben Cooper, is Co-Director for Public Health Data and Training Center in the Institute for Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis.

After her diagnosis of lung cancer, Joan was struggling to get the nourishment she needed to get through her chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Jim was diagnosed HIV Positive in 1989. At that time, there was no treatment for patients and many people passed from the disease.

Rich Kluesner, board member, has been a regular attendee at Food Outreach’s signature event, A Tasteful Affair, since 1993.

After nearly 25 years at Food Outreach, Client Services Director Kathy Spencer is retiring.

Food Outreach was a natural fit for Lauren Karpman, who has been a volunteer since 2015 and a board member since 2021.

Food Outreach has a new refrigerator truck in their program to provide nutritional interventions for community members living with life-threatening illnesses in the St. Louis region.
