You live at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Line

Here's what to expect after you submit your referral.

We reach out to schedule your intake

Once your completed referral form has been received, a Food Outreach staff member will try to call you to schedule an intake appointment. You can also call 314.710.5543 to make an appointment.

Meet with our Registered Dietitian

All clients have an initial intake appointment with our on-staff Registered Dietitian before becoming enrolled in the program. This appointment covers:

Introduction to Food Outreach's programs and guidelines
Nutrition assessment

HIV

You may remain in the program as long as you need services and meet the income guidelines.

Cancer

Services run for one year, then you are reassessed for continued eligibility in six-month increments. Inactive cancer clients may re-enroll if they experience a recurrence or receive a new diagnosis of cancer.
